Unlike the Japanese version, the Korean version has the contents packaged with a thick box instead of MOC which gave them better protections on the toys. The box even stated “made in Korea”, I think this is my first Korean toy eventhough, the franchise was originally Japanese made. Sonokong is the official Korean licensor for Takara Microman Magne Powers Toys.

Alright, enough for them now as for the toy, my Spy Heli was produced by a different company, which is Sonokong Toys. The name of “Micro Machine” was a homage to the original micro machine line from the original series. Spy Heli is one of Edison’s micro machine creation to help him & his fellow Microman to fight Acroyear, it’s ability was able to fly like a helicopter, secret base & of course combat copter! As for Magne Kirk, I can’t seem to find any of his information who he is & what part of his role in Microman since he never make any appearance in Microman anime.

Mitubishi also spread their wings in the market, drawing from the heritage of their international rallying success to develop and market the Magna VR-X, the Magna Sport Wagon and the Magna RalliArt models. AWD, the “Banksia” parking brake system and 4 channel ABS with an EBD system all made their debut down under in different models of the third-gen magna. Slowly upgraded over a period of 10 years before it was replaced by the 380, the Magna introduced a wide range of things that were firsts from an Australian-built passenger car. Third GenerationĬritically acclaimed, highly recognisable and costing half a billion dollars to develop, the third Mitsubishi magna was one of the definitive cars of the late 90s in Australia. 40,000 Magnas were shipped across to the US, UK, Japan and New Zealand every year. The second-gen Magna also shared a platform with the sportier 3000GT, with its high quality of engineering making it suitable for international export. Nonetheless, it didn’t stop Mitsubishi Australia from pumping almost $400 million into the development of its local poster-boy, including the introduction of the upmarket Verada model which borrowed luxury fittings from its US cousins and offered the option of an Aussie-built 3.0L V6 engine. The release of the second Magna unfortunately coincided with the worldwide recession of the early 90s which, when combined with an oil crises stemming from the effects of the Gulf War, made affordability and efficiency key to staying competitive in the Australian market. Overall, over 200,000 Magna’s were sold in this 5-year period. The formula proved incredibly successful, and between 19, 3 different models of the Magna were released in a wide range of trim levels and engine types. The Magna actually proved inspirational to a host of other Asian manufacturers in broadening their vehicles, including Toyota with their Camry and Nissan’s Bluebird. The first iteration of the Magna was essentially just a 5th generation Galant, which was widened and toughened up to not only deal with harsher Aussie roads, but also to compete with the larger Commodore and Falcon models. Spares Box carries a huge range of parts for all aspects of your Magna, whether it be a base model or a RalliArt edition, to keep it running in tip top condition. Made over 20 years from 19, the Magna was one of the most successful cars ever to enter the market against the dominant figures of the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore, using a combination of reliable Japanese engineering and Aussie production to craft a winning formula. Japanese in Origin but about as Aussie as they come, the Mitsubishi Magna was a magnificent attempt from the Diamond Star brand to make a true car for the Australian people.
